Halfway through my PhD studies I generated a word cloud from all my publications. I was truly surprised when I found that “requirements engineering” was the biggest topic in that visualization! Until then I thought I was closer to software testing… Since then I’ve kind of embraced requirements engineering and attended the two big conferences on the topic: RE and REFSQ. Our workshop series Requirements Engineering and Testing has been co-located with them both.
